Working With Psychics: When Digital Strategy Meets Spirit

Working With Psychics: When Digital Strategy Meets Spirit

I never set out to become the go-to website strategist for psychics and spiritual practitioners… but sometimes the universe has other plans.

In the last few months, I’ve had the joy of building websites for several incredible women in the spiritual space, each bringing their own unique flavour of magic to the world. From psychic mediumship and Reiki to astrology, soul guidance, and energy healing, their work is deeply personal, intuitive, and impactful.

And while all three women operate in the spiritual space, their websites needed to feel completely different. Because when your business is you, personal branding isn’t just about logos or layouts. It’s about essence, energy, and alignment.

The Creative Process: Intuition Meets UX

When I work with soul-led business owners, my approach shifts. It becomes slower, more spacious, more attuned.

Before a single colour is chosen or a font is locked in, I meet with each client. We talk. I ask thoughtful questions. But more importantly, I listen to what they say and also to what they don’t. I tune in to their energy, their intention, their story. And I trust my own intuition to lead the creative direction from there.

On design days, you’ll usually find me in comfy pants with a coffee by my side. Something chill is playing softly on Spotify. Crystals are out. Notebooks are scattered. It’s a vibe.

Three Women, Three Different Vibes

  1. Janice Richards – An internationally renowned psychic medium and numerologist based in Brisbane, Janice has spent decades guiding others through readings, workshops, and healing sessions. A regular on the TV show Psychic Solutions, her presence is powerful, feminine, and deeply trusted. We created a site that mirrors this, grounded, graceful, and gold-toned, with soft flow and clarity woven throughout.

  1. Michelle Lynch – A nurturing, heart-led healer who grew a following through reading coffee cups. Michelle didn’t want anything too boho or dark. We landed on a style that embodies her personality, characterised by calmness, beauty, and class, featuring emerald greens, soft pinks, and elegant brand typography.

  1. Pegasus Soaring – Operated by Giselle Geiger, a cosmic guide whose services span astrology, Reiki, counselling, and galactic soul work. Her site blends zodiac-inspired colours like magenta, violet, and muted gold with clean, celestial design.

Branding Tips for Soul-Led Business Owners

If you’re building a personal brand rooted in intuition or spiritual service, here are a few lessons I’ve learned:

  • Trust your energy; if it doesn’t feel like you, it probably isn’t.
  • Choose three to five words that describe how you want people to feel on your site.
  • Mood boards are more than a Pinterest exercise; they’re portals into your brand’s essence.
  • Your ‘About’ page matters more than you think; make it meaningful.
  • You can be soulful and strategic; the two aren’t mutually exclusive

The Beauty of Blending Two Worlds

What I love most about this work is the meeting point between the spiritual and the structured. My corporate background means I understand systems, user journeys, and SEO, but my creative process is anything but rigid.

Working with psychics has reminded me that truly aligned branding comes from a deeper place. When we slow down, tune in, and trust our senses, the right design choices start to feel obvious.

Working on these projects was a beautiful blend of strategy and soul, and I’m so grateful to have helped bring them to life. If you’re ready to create a brand or website that truly reflects you, get in touch.
